The hop on hop off always gives me a good understanding of where all the main sights of the city are and how the city is laid out no matter what country I am in. I miss the days when the driver was the guide but I understand how a recorded message makes for a consistent experience. Sometimes it feels like an ad for some companies and bars, I would rather hear more about the history of the monuments and architecture. My only complaint is the lower level does not have good sight lines for seeing the city. The person not at the window almost sees nothing unless we are beside it and it is not more than a single level. The upstairs was full and hot so it was not conducive to sitting up there. Wish the main level was laid out better with better windows like in some other countries.
