Itinerary

Your journey begins with round-trip transfers from your hotel in Foz de Iguazú, on the Brazilian side, bringing you to the heart of Iguazú National Park. Just 20 kilometers from Puerto Iguazú in Argentina’s Misiones province, the river that starts in Paraná, Brazil, and travels more than 1,200 kilometers, suddenly transforms into one of the most breathtaking natural wonders on Earth. A geological fault interrupts the calm river and creates a dramatic drop of nearly 80 meters, forming the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat, where the roar of the water dominates everything around it. From the Garganta del Diablo station, a charming train ride takes you to the start of a 2000-meter walkway. This fully accessible route guides you straight to a panoramic viewpoint, where the raw force and beauty of the Devil’s Throat unfold before your eyes. The scene is overwhelming, unforgettable, and the perfect way to begin exploring.

The adventure continues along the Upper Circuit, a 1750-meter trail with six viewpoints that give you sweeping views of the falls from above. The atmosphere is serene, with the jungle’s calm energy blending beautifully with the sight of the Iguazú River delta stretching out in front of you. From there, you move to the Lower Circuit, a more intimate 1800-meter route that takes you right beneath the waterfalls. Here, the mist rises all around you, the sounds of rushing water surround you, and the jungle feels alive with every step. Next, you board a FWD truck that drives you 8 kilometers along the Yacaratiá trails. After descending 100 meters of stairs, you arrive at the Puerto Macuco jungle base, where a floating dock waits. This is where the pace changes as you step into a semi-rigid rubber boat and prepare for an unforgettable ride.

Life jackets on, you set out across the Iguazú River canyon. The first stretch covers 6 kilometers, keeping the falls in sight the whole way, before the river rapids add an extra thrill. The boat jumps and dips as it pushes through, and soon you find yourself near San Martin Island, pausing to take in the sweeping view of the falls. From here, the real excitement begins: the boat approaches the base of the Tres Mosqueteros Falls, giving you a spectacular vantage point where the Argentine and Brazilian waterfalls come together, crowned by the towering Devil’s Throat. The thunder of the water grows louder as you draw closer, the spray hits your face, and the sheer energy of nature surrounds you completely.

By the time you return, you’ve experienced Iguazú Falls from every angle—above, below, by land, and on the water. Accompanied by a bilingual guide, it’s a day filled with wonder, adrenaline, and moments of pure awe in one of the most extraordinary places on the planet.
