Itinerary

Vancouver’s gleaming skyline of modern buildings belies a dark and sordid past. The city is built on the ashes of burial grounds and was once inhabited by murderous villains. Embrace the eerie excitement of Halloween with the Haunted Halloween Trolley Tour, a chilling ride through Vancouver’s most haunted locations. As the night falls and shadows begin to appear, you will be whisked away by the streets and homes, which seem normal, but if you look and listen closely enough, you will hear echoes of murders and other devastating events.

Climb aboard the Haunted trolley ride to begin your journey through the darker corners of Vancouver’s past. As night descends and shadows deepen, embark on a spine-chilling trolley ride through the darker corners of Vancouver’s past. This is not your average trolley ride around the city. What might first seem like ordinary streets and homes reveal haunting secrets. So, if you listen closely, you will hear the chilling echoes of murders and other tragic events that shaped the city’s history. This tour takes guests on a spooky journey through the city’s haunted streets.

Guided by a local storyteller, you will uncover the grisly tales of infamous cases. Hear stories of the Castelanni Milkshake Murder. It is a story of a homicide in Vancouver, Canada in 1965. The victim was Esther Castellani, who died a slow and painful death. Her husband, Rene, was convicted of the crime. Another story includes the ghostly presence of the Lady in Red at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Explore spooky places like Stanley Park, where you can learn about the unsolved mystery of the Babes in the Woods. Also, walk through the grand but dark mansions of Shaughnessy. Admire the historic architecture of Gastown, which takes on a particularly spooky character after dark. The tour culminates with a stop at Mountain View Cemetery, where restless spirits are said to roam. It may be cold and damp and dark outside, but you will get your chills from the "shadows, stories, and the occasional bump in the night" the tour provides, courtesy stops at Mountain View Cemetery.

Your host will tell the historic crime tales that took place in familiar neighborhoods of Stanley Park, Gastown, Shaughnessy, and more. See the spookier side of the city with plenty of bone-chilling tales and spooky locations.
