Itinerary
Your adventure begins in Munich, where you will board a comfortable coach for the journey through the scenic Bavarian countryside. As you travel, you will be treated to breathtaking views of rolling hills, dense forests, and quaint villages that seem frozen in time. This landscape sets the perfect tone for the fairy tale that awaits you.
Your first stop is Linderhof Castle, a masterpiece of French Rococo style inspired by the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles. Built by King Ludwig II, also known as the Swan King, Linderhof is the smallest of his three castles but is considered the most intimate and personal. Surrounded by meticulously manicured gardens, fountains, and terraces, the castle reflects Ludwig’s admiration for French architecture and his desire for seclusion.
After visiting Linderhof, the tour continues to the charming village of Oberammergau. Nestled in the Ammergau Alps, this village is famous for its woodcarving tradition and its beautifully frescoed buildings. Here, you can stroll through the village, admire the artistic craftsmanship, and perhaps purchase a unique souvenir.
The final and most anticipated stop of the day is Neuschwanstein Castle. Perched high on a rugged hill, this castle is one of the most photographed buildings in the world and is said to have inspired Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. Built by King Ludwig II as a retreat and homage to the composer Richard Wagner, Neuschwanstein is a symbol of romanticism and fantasy.
As the day comes to an end, you will board the coach for the return journey to Munich. This unforgettable journey offers skip-the-line access, allowing you to immerse yourself in the history, beauty, and grandeur of these legendary castles without the hassle of long waits. This tour offers a perfect blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.
