The Sky Lagoon, just minutes from downtown Reykjavík, has quickly become a popular destination, drawing both residents and tourists looking for relaxation. Its breathtaking views and tranquil atmosphere make it a perfect spot to unwind, offering an experience that’s hard to match no matter the season, whether during a gentle sunset, a light snowfall, or beneath the northern lights.

At the heart of the Sky Lagoon is the 7-step Skjól Ritual, designed to refresh and invigorate both the body and mind. It begins with the soothing warmth of the lagoon, surrounded by panoramic views of Mount Keilir and the open ocean. After soaking in the lagoon’s embrace, you are invited to take the Cold Plunge, which can be as simple as enjoying the crisp Icelandic air or submerging yourself in cold water to awaken your senses. From there, the Oceanview Sauna offers the perfect retreat, where the heat opens your pores as you gaze through a large window at the stunning ocean scenery.

The ritual continues with the Mystical Cold Fog, a refreshing mist that prepares your skin for the Sky Body Scrub, an exfoliating sea salt treatment. The steam room follows, allowing your skin to absorb the benefits of the scrub while soothing your body. As a final touch, you can savor the essence of Iceland with a shot of krækiber, a traditional crowberry elixir. The journey concludes with a relaxing return to the lagoon, where you can reflect on the entire experience at the in-water Lagoon Bar, letting the peaceful Icelandic atmosphere wash over you. After a day full of relaxation, you'll be comfortably transferred back to Reykjavik, ready to unwind and reflect on your wonderful experiences.

Guests are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes on their travel day.
For your comfort and safety, we recommend dressing in layers to prepare for changing weather conditions. Please wear a warm, windproof, and waterproof jacket, along with three layers of clothing, such as a sweater, fleece, and thermal layer. Ensure you have warm, waterproof trousers and sturdy, water-resistant footwear or boots. Woolen socks, a warm hat, scarf, and waterproof gloves will help keep you cozy and protected throughout your time outdoors.
