We enjoy doing the hop on hop off bus to get an overview of a city when we first visit and have done several. Only issue this time is the interactive map told us a bus was coming to the stop we were at in 20 minutes and then the bus route was stopped which left us stranded. Luckily we were close enough to walk to our hotel but it was not a good experience.

A lot of headphone jacks did not work

In my opinion, not worth it. Because the bus needs to stay “outside the city”, there really isn’t much to see. It’s a good way to get to the Piazzale Michelangelo (which is beautiful) but your feet can take you there just as easily.
