Itinerary

When you are in Florence, make sure you take a day trip to the beautiful and scenic Tuscan countryside. Your day begins with a visit to San Gimignano, a medieval gem perched atop a hill in Valdelsa. Marvel at the iconic skyline dominated by ancient towers built by powerful families in the 14th century. Explore the town's well-preserved walls and delve into its fascinating history of transformation from a rural village to a prestigious urban center. San Gimignano is worth visiting because you can climb towers, wander through small streets, find awesome shops and restaurants, and see cool old stuff. Given its spectacular setting, San Gimignano is one of the most touristy towns in Tuscany.

Next, journey through the scenic Chianti Classico region, renowned for its exceptional wines symbolized by the Gallo Nero. Chianti has lots of vineyards, forests with chestnut trees, and pretty villages from the olden days. You can also find castles and cute farmhouses. Plus, it is where the famous red wine comes from. Stop at a traditional Tuscan winery to tour the cellars and vineyards and indulge in tastings of exquisite Chianti wines, immersing yourself in the flavors of this iconic area.

Continue your adventure to the historic city of Siena, nestled in the heart of Tuscany. Join knowledgeable guides to tour the old city center, where architectural wonders await. You gotta check out Siena! It has amazing old buildings, a super interesting past, a lively vibe, and yummy local food. Plus, it is a great place to start your adventure exploring Italy's famous wine areas. Admire the stunning Siena Cathedral (Duomo) and the vibrant Piazza del Campo, home to the famed Palio horse race, capturing the essence of Siena's timeless elegance.

Conclude your journey with a visit to Colle Alta, the historic center of Colle Val d'Elsa. Wander through charming streets steeped in history and discover the city's renowned crystal heritage. Explore the Crystal Museum and admire architectural landmarks such as the Church of Santa Caterina and the Castle of Piticciano, which offer panoramic views of the picturesque landscape. As the day draws to a close, return to Villa Costanza, where your tour began. Reflect on the unforgettable experiences and cherished memories created during your exploration of Tuscany's wine regions, leaving you with a deeper appreciation for the beauty and culture of this enchanting Italian destination.
