Set out on a journey from Livorno Port and discover the city’s historic gems, including the renowned Leaning Tower. Join an expert tour leader to discover the hidden gems of the historic center, including alleys, squares, and medieval buildings. This shore excursion starts in Livorno. After you disembark, take a shuttle bus from the port to meet your tour leader, who will be wearing a green shirt.
Once on board, your guide will share tips and information to enhance your visit to Pisa. The tour begins with a walk through the ancient city walls and the religious center, known as "Piazza dei Miracoli," a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an important medieval art center. You will then walk along Via Santa Maria, an old road that connects the religious site to Piazza dei Cavalieri. There, you will see the Church, the prestigious university known as "the normal," established by Napoleon Bonaparte, and the Gualandi Tower, where Count Ugolino, a character from Dante's Divine Comedy, was imprisoned and starved.

Tourist buses are not allowed to enter Piazza dei Miracoli, there will be a 15 minute walking distance from the parking lot to the Leaning Tower of Pisa (Piazza dei Miracoli)
This tour involves a lot of walking, so it is NOT suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
Please make sure to be at the meeting point at least 10-15 minutes before the start time.
