Depending on the selected option, visitors either explore at their own pace using a multilingual audio guide or are accompanied by a host who escorts them through the monument while helping them access the audio commentary. The audio tour provides historical context, stories of ancient gladiators, and insights into the architectural brilliance of this world-renowned structure. As guests move through the Colosseum, they can pause to admire its massive stone arches, imagine the roar of ancient crowds, and learn about the events that once took place inside the arena. The audio narration helps visitors understand how the amphitheatre functioned in Roman times and how it became one of the most recognized symbols of Italy’s history and culture.
After completing their exploration of the Colosseum, the experience continues with included access to the nearby archaeological areas.
