Spend an unforgettable day exploring the Douro wine region. Begin your Douro Valley and Wine Tour from Largo da Igreja da Lapa and enjoy an enriching journey through the picturesque Douro valley region. One of the highlights is a visit to Amarante, famous for its convent sweets, views over the Tâmega river and the iconic church of São Gonçalo. Situated on the banks of the River Tâmega, Amarante is located halfway between Porto and the Douro Valley.
Next, the journey continues to Casa dos Barros, one of the most beautiful places and a must visit to anyone visiting Douro Valley. Then visit to the Enoteca. Here, you will enjoy a tasting session featuring three exquisite wines that showcase the region’s winemaking traditions. The visit also includes a delightful lunch with a full menu, making it a truly satisfying stop. After the wine session, you will enjoy lunch in northern Portugal. - You must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience to get a complete refund.
- If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience, you will not be reimbursed.
- Any modifications made less than 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience will not be allowed.
- The cut-off times are determined by the activity/experience's local start time.

Your website on booking said arrive around 8.30am for 9.00am departure. Those that booked at ticket office were told to be at pick up point between 8.00am and 8.15 am for 8.30am departure. Consequently we nearly missed the tour. Glad they waited a few minutes though as the tour was so much fun and our guide was just brilliant. Highly recommend this wonderful tour.
