After a brief Segway practice to ensure comfort for first-timers, the journey begins with a local storytelling guide who shares both fascinating facts and amusing tales about Porto’s history and culture. The tour passes through the main landmarks, including the magnificent Luís I Bridge, designed by Teófilo Seyrig, a disciple of Gustave Eiffel, and the imposing Porto Cathedral, standing proudly at the top of the historic centre on the windy hill of Pena Ventosa.

The ride continues to São Bento Railway Station, where 20,000 decorative tiles tell stories of Portugal’s past, before heading to Aliados Avenue, the grand boulevard lined with historic buildings and crowned by the impressive city hall.
