Itinerary

Riyadh is the capital and largest city in Saudi Arabia. It is situated in the middle of the an-Nafud desert and was formerly known as Hajr al-Yamamah. Riyadh is a blend of medieval and modern, with traditional souks, interesting museums, and ancient architecture alongside highrises, world-class malls, and restaurants.

We begin our tour of Riyadh at the National Museum. It is the iconic place of Saudi Arabia's heritage and culture. This museum is a place for learning and discovery, showcasing a unique collection of artifacts. These artifacts tell the history of the Arabian Peninsula from ancient times to the present. Next, we will visit Murrabba Palace, close to the museum. This palace was once the royal residence where King Abdulaziz held court. It is named for its square shape, measuring 40 by 40 meters. It is now considered a major museum in the city. Next to the palace, a modern building displays personal items belonging to King Abdulaziz, which we will quickly examine. These sites are central to the history of Saudi Arabia. This tour offers a deeper insight into the life of the Saudi Royal Family.

We will explore old Riyadh in the afternoon by visiting the downtown area. Explore the old Dirah Souq in the downtown area. This market is famous for antique carpets and other pieces of Saudi heritage. While we walk, we will enjoy the pleasant smells of sandalwood or orient. The Souq is also known for men’s clothing, and one of the highlights is watching the auction that happens every Friday. This makes an unforgettable cultural experience in the heart of Riyadh. Afterward, we will visit Masmak Fort, within walking distance of the Souq. The fortified palace is important for establishing the modern Saudi Kingdom. Built in 1895 during the reign of Abdullah bin Rashid, it served as a military base for his army. In 1902, King Abdulaziz, the father of today’s nation, captured the fort, marking the start of bringing Arabia back under the House of Saud.

From there, we will head to the famous Kingdom Tower and its Sky Bridge to see Riyadh from a panoramic viewpoint nearly 300 meters above the city. Clients who has booked the tour less than 12h, will not be provided the PICK up from the Hotel. But they can join the tour from the departure point.
The service provider will pick you up from most of the major hotels. The pick up time can vary. The service provider will confirm the precise time by email one day before the tour date.
The pick up is 30-60 minutes before the tour starts.
Supplement cost may be applicable for Hotel pickup from the airport.
The vehicle will wait for only 5 minutes for the guest at hotel, so that the other guests at the next Hotel pick up location do not get delayed.
Smoking is not allowed in the vehicles.
Photographing local ladies is not permitted.

The cut-off times are determined by the activity/experience's local start time.
