Itinerary

Escape to the other two cultural capitals of Catalonia. From Barcelona, take a trip to Girona’s historic Jewish Quarter and to Figueres, home to Spain’s most visited museum, the Dalí Theatre-Museum, where you’ll enjoy priority entry. Starting in Barcelona, you’ll set off toward Girona, where history feels alive in every corner. The medieval walls, Romanesque and Gothic monuments, and Baroque architecture make the city a joy to wander through. The Jewish Quarter, one of the best preserved in Europe, adds even more depth to your stroll. As you explore, the colorful facades reflected in the Onyar River and the charming bridges across it create perfect moments to pause and take in the view—or snap a photo you’ll want to keep. A knowledgeable guide will illuminate the town's Roman origins and its colorful legends, including intriguing tales about the city's historical significance.

From there, the journey continues to Figueres, the capital of the Alt Empordà region and the beating heart of surrealism. Here, the Dalí Theatre-Museum awaits. Built on the remains of the city’s old theater, it isn’t just a museum but a surrealist work of art in its own right. This magnificent building will allow you to see straight into the painter’s mind. Inside, the largest collection of Salvador Dalí’s works surrounds you, each piece challenging and captivating in its own way. The permanent Dalí Jewels exhibition adds another layer of wonder, with creations that sparkle as brilliantly as the imagination behind them. See the streets and corners that marked the artist’s early years and visit some of his favorite places.

Your reservation includes coach travel between Barcelona, Girona, and Figueres, a guide who will accompany you in Spanish, Catalan, and English, a guided tour of Girona and its Jewish Quarter in a group setting of max 25 people, priority entry to the Dalí Museum with an orientation tour, and admission to Dalí Jewels. Enjoy the blend of historical insights and artistic wonders on this day trip from Barcelona.
