We bought the 48hour tour and started at stop 1 tour 2 on the first bus at 9am. This, together with the 10 trip metro cards enabled us to visit and photograph in bright sunshine very many of the highlights Madrid had to offer. Als to enjoy some snacks and drinks at the wonderful outdoor restaurants. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to get tickets for the Real Madrid v Leipzig match but have booked the Bernabeu stadium tour on Friday. The driver and guide teams together with the excellent earphone commentary were top rate. The guides were very friendly and helpful. Super top value.

The bus is not entering the old city rather just goes around. It gives some perspective but I would not recommend it as it doesn't show the most beautiful places of the city. We take hop off hop on almost in every big city we visit but in Madrid so far it was a disappointment. It's not a problem with the company just the reality of the city.

It was ok. We booked the one-day ticket but we were not able to get seats upstairs, so it was more like a normal bus for us with dirty windows. I recommend it if you want a glimpse of main historical marks..but be aware that upstairs seats are not always available so you won't have the full experience.
