Itinerary
Embark on an exciting morning exploration in Segovia! Start your journey from the Julià Travel office and be amazed by the impressive Aqueduct, a gigantic structure with 167 arches. Then, join a walking tour to Plaza Mayor, a lively square surrounded by interesting places like the Town Hall and Juan Bravo Theatre. The Cathedral awaits, and you'll get a special guided tour inside to learn about its history.
After the Cathedral, enjoy a bit of free time to relax or explore on your own. But the adventure doesn't stop there! Move on to the Alcázar, a medieval castle that some say inspired Disney's fairy tale castles. Explore its historic halls and imagine the tales it holds.
Following the morning excitement, head back to Madrid for a well-deserved lunch break, giving you about an hour to recharge before the next part of your journey.
In the afternoon, set off to Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage site with streets steeped in history. Wander through its charming lanes, and visit the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, adorned with royal coats of arms. Explore the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, originally a synagogue turned into a church. Don't miss El Greco's masterpiece, "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz," at the Church of Santo Tomé.
After all the exploration, enjoy a short free time in Toledo for shopping or sipping coffee at a local café. As the day concludes, board the transport for a comfortable return to Madrid, reflecting on the cultural richness and fascinating discoveries of Segovia and Toledo.
