Your journey will begin as you board a omfortable vehicle as the transfers are included with this tour. Once everyone is on board, you will head towards Selcuk Town and arrive at Ephesus Village. There, your guided tour of Ephesus will begin from the upper gate of the ancient city. You won’t need to wait in line as your entry ticket has already been purchased for you. As you walk through Ephesus, you will see many famous and beautiful places from history. You will visit the Estate Agora, where people once gathered, and the Odeon, a small theater for music and meetings. You will walk along the Road of Curates, once a busy street in the ancient city, and see the Gate of Magnesia. You’ll also see the Basilica, the meeting place for early Christians, and the Bouleterion (Odeon), where city leaders used to meet.

 

Don’t miss the Columns of Herakles, also known as the Gate of the Mighty Hercules, and the Traianus Fountain, which was built for Emperor Trajan. You will also visit the Temple of Hadrianus, which is beautifully designed. Along the way, you’ll pass by ancient bathrooms and the Scholastic Baths, where people used to relax and clean themselves. One of the biggest highlights will be the Library of Celsius, a grand and beautiful structure that once held thousands of scrolls. As you continue, you will walk to the Arcadia connection of the Ancient Port and see the Commercial Agora where people once shopped and did business. The tour concludes at the lower gate of Ephesus, near the Grand Theater, a vast stage that could accommodate over 20,000 people. It’s an unforgettable part of the city and a perfect place for photos.
