I loved the hop on buses. Especially the one with an actual guide. Love the human touch. I wish there were more differences in green and red routes.

It made it easy to see Deans Village, the botanic gardens, Newhaven, and Holyrood park. I also enjoyed the commentary.

Excellent tour. It was informative and allowed me the flexibility to get off and explore the sights. I would just jump back on at any point and continue the tour. I also liked the frequency of the buses.

5.0 Big Bus Tours: Edinburgh Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tour Explore Ticket (2 Lines)
We used the Edinburgh hop on hop off several times over our 2 day stay and found it an excellent introduction to the sights. Staff were friendly and helpful. The commentary was very informative, although some of the plug in sockets didn't work, but that was very minor and didn't spoil our enjoyment. Would recommend.
