Overview
The Aquarium of the bay facility has 300 feet of acrylic tunnels which are crystal clear and hold 700,000 gallons of bay water. The carefully maintained water is home to varieties of animals ranging from octopi to eight-foot native gill sharks and other aquatic animals. You can see beautiful walls of jellies and get the opportunity to feel bat rays, skates, and splash zone animals.

The beautiful Aquarium of the Bay starts in Discover the Bay which showcases the distinct ecosystems assisting wide varieties of marine life. The eight exhibits showcase thousands of aquatic animals and you can know about the creatures that live in the Bay.
Aquarium of the Bay is located at Pier 39 along the Embarcadero. Enjoy the educational look of the sea life at the bay. An admission ticket offers access to the main exhibit areas of the aquarium.
