Itinerary
The tour begins at Mission San Francisco De Asis which is also known as Mission Dolores which is one of the ancient buildings in San Francisco. In this chapel, you can see amazing religious art and discover the rich history. Get the chance to enjoy its gardens and explore the cemetery in the city.
Nearby you will find Mission Dolores Park which is a former Jewish Cemetery and now a bustling park in San Francisco. People enjoy it here, especially during summer and spring when the grass covers the park. Locals enjoy sports and other games in the park. Pass through Father Hidalgo’s statue while strolling through the park. Witness the “Golden Fire Hydrant” which is located at Church St. and 20th was the only functioning hydrant at the fire and earthquake in 1906. Due to this hydrant, Mission was saved from destruction.
