The guide provides fascinating insights, fun facts, and historical context at each stop. The tour starts at Sankofa Square, also known as Yonge-Dundas Square. Travel in a climate-controlled vehicle with guaranteed seating for everyone. The journey begins in Yorkville, an upscale neighborhood. This place is known for its designer shops, fine dining, and cultural sites. You will see the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), one of Canada’s top museums, famous for its striking “Michael Lee-Chin Crystal” addition. Yorkville's history as a hippie haven turned luxury area adds an interesting twist to our Toronto City tour.
 
Next, we will pass the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), designed by Frank Gehry. This architectural gem features over 90,000 artworks, including pieces from Canadian artists like the Group of Seven. Halfway through, we will stop at City Hall for a photo with the iconic Toronto sign, created for the 2015 Pan American Games. This sign has become a city symbol and is perfect for capturing your Toronto memories. 
 
Next, we will go through the financial district, where modern skyscrapers stand next to historic buildings. You will learn about Toronto’s growth as a financial center in North America. We will next visit Cabbagetown, known for its Victorian homes and green streets. You will hear how this area got its name and its history as a working-class neighborhood that has become a charming residential area. We will explore the Distillery District, which is famous for its Victorian architecture. Once the largest distillery in the British Empire, it is now a pedestrian-friendly area full of art galleries, shops, and outdoor art.
 
As we drive along Queens Quay, enjoy views of Lake Ontario and the city skyline. You will learn about the Toronto Islands, a popular area for recreation, just a short ferry ride away, with bike paths, beaches, and great views. Our tour ends as we head back up Yonge Street, the longest street in the world, returning to Sankofa Square.
