Itinerary

Start your special journey with us from Paris to the iconic places where history unfolded during World War II. Imagine being part of a small group, no more than 15 people, on a guided tour led by an interpreter who will bring the past to life.

The adventure begins early from the Pullman Hotel in Paris, where you will set off on a three-hour trip to the historic landing beaches in Normandy. On June 6, 1944, known as "D-Day," the Allies, including American, British, and Canadian soldiers, bravely confronted the Third Reich in the largest military operation ever. Pullman Paris is on the Left Bank, really close to the Eiffel Tower. It is only a 5-minute walk away. Also, it is super handy because it's only 1969 feet from the Bir-Hakeim Metro Station (line 6). This metro can take you directly to cool places like the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Élysées, and Louver Museum.

Our first stop is the heroic Pointe du Hoc, a place that witnessed the extraordinary courage of American soldiers during the D-Day landings. Picture standing on majestic cliffs overlooking the English Channel, gaining a deep understanding of why this location played a crucial role in the battle.

Next, we will visit the legendary Omaha Beach, where history was made. Walk along the sands and feel the emotions still lingering in these sacred grounds. Learn about the sacrifices made for freedom and appreciate the significance of this pivotal D-Day landing site.

A visit to the American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer follows, a powerful tribute to the fallen heroes. Experience the solemn tranquility among meticulously aligned graves, a touching reminder of the human courage and sacrifices that shaped the course of history.

After this intense exploration, take a moment to relax in a local restaurant. Here, you can indulge in the delicious cuisine of Normandy while sharing reflections and thoughts with your fellow participants.

The day concludes on a high note, offering you a choice between Juno Beach, where Canadian troops played a vital role in Normandy's liberation, or the historic port of Arromanches, home to remnants of the ingenious artificial harbor used during the battle.

This guided tour seamlessly blends history with the natural beauty of Normandy, creating an unforgettable experience. Immerse yourself in the past and feel the emotional resonance of these historic sites that have shaped our modern world. Secure your spot now, and get ready for a day filled with exceptional exploration in Normandy.
