BODY WORLDS
Throughout the years, the BODY WORLDS exhibitions in the Amsterdam have undergone important changes and incarnations. This exhibition practically educates people to live a healthy life. Dr. Gunther Von Hagens invented the plastination process in the year 1977 at the University of Heidelberg. Many copycats have imitated the original exhibitions, but they cannot match the real ones in terms of innovation and quality. Currently, the theme of the Amsterdam exhibition is The Happiness Project, which lights on the effects of happiness on a human being. More than 200 real anatomical models clearly understand how mood plays a significant role in our health.
Moreover, you can discover many secrets of the human body that you are unaware of. This is an excellent educational tour where you can see the organ functioning and compare the affected organ to a healthy one to understand the impact of common diseases. You can also see the impact of addictions such as alcohol and tobacco, as well as a demonstration of the mechanics of the artificial knee.
