Itinerary
Start your journey near a place called Shatti Al-Qurum. As we head towards Nakhl, you will get to see something really cool – an ancient fortress sitting on top of a little hill. Even though we cannot go inside the fort right now (it is getting a makeover), we can still walk around it and enjoy the relaxing waters of Al Thowarah Hot Springs.
Nakhl is just a short two-hour drive from Muscat. Thanks to the Barka-Nakhl Dual Road project, finished in 2018, the journey is now not only easy but also full of beautiful views. Nakhl is like its own special paradise with lots of date plantations and big mountains to the north.
One of the main things people love to do in Nakhl is visit the Nakhl Fort. It is like the superstar of the village, attracting people from all over Oman. The fort is not just a building; it is like a time capsule filled with memories from the past. But Nakhl has more to offer than just the fort. Looking at it is amazing and makes you wonder how clever the villagers were in ancient times. They built the fort on top of a big rock or maybe a hill – it is like a puzzle that makes everyone curious.
Especially on weekends, especially during the winter, lots of tourists and locals come here. They enjoy the cooler weather and also love that it is easy to get close to nature and try out different activities. Nakhl is not just a place; it is a mix of history, nature, and fun waiting to be explored! Now, let us dive into the history of Nakhl, especially the Al Bu Sayed dynasties. These families played a big role in making Nakhl what it is today. After that, we will stroll through places filled with date palm trees – it is like a green paradise that shows how fertile and lovely Nakhl's surroundings are.
Our next stop is at Seeb Souq, which is right by the sea. It is a perfect spot to take pictures of the beautiful views along the coast. Imagine the sea, the sky, and everything in between – it is like a painting coming to life. Finally, we will wrap up our tour at Avenue Mall before smoothly heading back to your hotel. This is where our delightful half-day adventure in Nakhl ends. It has been a journey filled with history, nature, and beautiful sights.

Cancellation Policy
- You must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience to get a complete refund.
- If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience, you will not be reimbursed.
- Any modifications made less than 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience will not be allowed.
- The cut-off times are determined by the activity/experience's local start time.
- This activity/experience is weather dependent. If it is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be given an alternate date or a full refund.
